‘Bringing data to life’ is a series of free online events hosted monthly by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). These events explore how data makes a difference, from gathering data to releasing statistics.
On Tuesday 22 October, ONS and Defra will delve into the world of environment statistics, covering topics like measuring air quality and climate concern. They will also highlight the importance of citizen science and volunteer schemes like the Big Butterfly Count in gathering vital information for monitoring changes in species populations. The event will be held on Microsoft Teams, recorded, and available for later viewing.
