Women paying the health cost of the climate crisis
The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is holding a webinar, Women paying the health cost of the climate crisis, at 12-1.30pm on 7 March 2024. The event will focus on quantifying the climate change loss and damage faced by women battling drought, migration and debt bondage.
Although harrowing, this looks to be a very interesting webinar. It will include a panel discussion, and the launch of a paper on the subject - showing how women are disproportionately affected by climate change.
