About

Welcome to the Civil Service Local Environment Network for the South West & Wales!

The aim of the environmental networks is to educate, develop and inspire civil servants across four cross-cutting themes - Climate Change; Natural Resources; Biodiversity and Ecosystems; and Sustainable Development - to deepen understanding and spark thinking in these wide-reaching environmental issues.

The South West & W Environment Network is particularly keen to build environmental awareness and promote personal responsibility to protect our beautiful topography and marine eco-systems for ourselves and for generations to come.

SW&WEN is a place where Civil Servants can share knowledge and experience, pool resources, discuss ideas, collaborate and integrate with existing green and environmental groups.

To get involved with the CS Local SW&WEN, please contact cslocalcymruwales@cabinetoffice.gov.uk or co-chairs Laura-Jane Harris (laura-jane.harris@hmpo.gov.uk) and Sue Roach (Sue.roach@dwp.gov.uk).
