COP31: Exclusive CSCEN recruitment opportunity

DESNZ are seeking people from a range of grades, currently working in central government ministerial departments (with gov.uk addresses), for temporary assignment in UK-based roles supporting the UK Government’s objectives for COP31.


Apply here As part of this trial, CSCEN members will get the opportunity to apply for temporary assignment roles lasting 3–6 months in a fast-paced, cross-cutting environment helping to deliver the annual UNFCCC Conference of the Parties. They are available on level-transfer only. People will remain on home team headcount and budget, need to access a DESNZ office, and will require line manager and DD sign-off.

 

DESNZ are looking for people who can start as soon as possible, manage multiple short deadlines, and deliver high-quality work at pace.

DESNZ is offering a range of exciting UK-based secondments (EO–G7) ahead of UNFCCC COP31. These 3–6 month roles (on level transfer and funded by home teams) provide a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a high-profile international summit.

You’ll contribute directly to the UK’s COP31 delivery across areas such as international engagement, pavilion design, events, briefings, logistics, accreditation, security and operations.
