What you’ll do

Ahead of UNFCCC COP31, DESNZ is making a number of UK-based roles available for people on level transfer for a fixed period. Roles range from EO to SEO and are for between 3-6 months in length (remaining on home team budgets). This role involves conducting complex statistical analyses of epidemiological data and developing surveillance systems to better understand threats to health from extreme weather events and climate change impacts. Based within the Extreme Events and Health Protection team, the role plays a crucial part in shaping public health responses and policies for climate-related health risks.
