The is an exciting role that covers a broad spectrum of environmental topics, requiring significant stakeholder engagement both internally with DIO, USVF, Industry Partners and external regulatory authorities such as the Environment Agency, Natural England, and Local Authorities. This is a brilliant opportunity to build your skills and develop hands on experience in the management and protection of Great Crested Newts, numerous bird species, bats and badgers. The role supports the RAF Commander including specialist project support for site investigations, remediation, and spill response. The wide-ranging delivery requirements include support to construction projects, facilities management, estate development proposals and safeguarding to ensure delivery of MoD and DIO environmental and sustainability policy.
