As an environmental lead for national infrastructure projects, you will be scrutinising application documents and working with inspectors, colleagues in the Environmental Services Team (EST), applicants, and statutory bodies to analyse and advise on the preparation and examination of applications for major infrastructure projects to ensure they meet the relevant legislative and policy tests, and conform to good practice in environmental assessment and good design. There are opportunities to gain knowledge and experience across a range of sectors and environmental topics, and the team has a strong emphasis on professional development with opportunities for learning and progression.
