The Big Butterfly Count is a UK-wide citizen science project run by Butterfly Conservation. By spending just 15 minutes counting butterflies and day-flying moths, you can help scientists monitor biodiversity, track environmental change and build evidence about the health of our natural world.

Whether you're in a garden, park, woodland or other green space, every count matters. Even recording zero sightings provides valuable data.
