Life with an Electric Car - a DfT environment network panel event
What is it really like to own an electric car?
As EVs make up an increasing proportion of new car sales and are now trickling down into the second hand market, more and more people are getting to experience life with an EV beyond the headlines and talking points. If you're thinking about getting one, what would you want to know from existing users?
A panel of our colleagues here in DfT will be talking about their real, lived experience of living with an Electric Vehicle. The day to day experience of charging and range, how convenient are they, what do they cost to buy and run? How do they work for families, long trips or the daily commute?
The panelists will be discussing these issues and more, and we will open the floor to questions so you can find out a little more about what it is really like to own an EV.
