This session will explore the threefold role of the insurance industry in the climate crisis, as:
a hub of knowledge, skills, data and capabilities on the assessment and evaluation of risk;
an enabler of the transfer and abatement of risk, that can encourage adaptation to and mitigation of climate change risk; and
one of the largest institutional investors globally, which can direct funds towards the transition to Net Zero.
